If you don't know what a Soda Stream is, you're missing out! It's this amazing contraption from the future that MAKES soda in your own! No it doesn't require a lot of work. It's rather quite simple and even the kiddos can do it!
The Soda Stream is simple to use. We have the Source and love it! It's become a big part of our family.
Fill the included bottle with water to the line, put into the machine then push the "button" while holding until you have the desired amount of fizz. I love the fact that it has a lighted indicator as to how much fizz! There's 3 levels of fizz so you can customize it to how you want it. The old machine you had to hand pump the desired amount of fizz, and that was a lot of work! The Source makes it SO much easier! After you add the fizz, pour in your flavor adding as much or as little as you'd like and then swirl DONT SHAKE! You now have a custom bottle of soda! You can even mix flavors!
The Soda Streams come in kits, which is great because you get all you need at once without having to buy extra until later! The Source kit comes with the Source machine, a reusable bottle for the soda with cap, a 60L CO2 container, and a sampler kit of flavors! You can make up to 60L of soda with this! It comes in black, white and soon will be available in red! MSRP around $99.95
So far my kids love the orange and ginger ale flavors as well as the Koolaid fruit punch! Koolaid offers their own soda stream flavors as well as Ocean Spray and Country Time! I fell in love with the pink lemonade! There's also diet flavors and zero calorie flavors too! And no aspartame! There's even a kit to make some flavored sparkling water too!
